Shang’s Journey in the Clouds series allows him to blend the real with the unreal in unique combinations, often with large, enticing plumes of rainbow clouds signaling a meshing between creative and real-life worlds. This time, Shang ascends the clouds and takes us to a snowy, mountaintop view that looks out at a cosmic rainbow quilt of clouds, all from the perspective of a standard, run-of-the-mill businessman–Shang’s piece is as thought-provoking as it is powerful.
