We promised this year would include some new and exciting releases, and we’re proud to finally unveil our Alfred Hitchcock Artist Series! Hitchcock is one of the most important and foundational masters of modern filmmaking, and we can’t wait to dive into his filmography alongside some of our favorite artists.
We’re starting things off with Raid71’s ode to the thrilling, and sexy, To Catch a Thief. To Catch a Thief follows the exhilarating story of former jewel thief, The Cat, trying to clear his name amidst a stream of new, copycat robberies. Raid’s print beautifully depicts the setting, the French Riviera, as a backdrop, while a majestic cat fills the foreground.
Robert Laskey takes us to the Bates Motel with an awesome ode to Hitchcock and one of his most renowned films! Robert’s portrait work offers an excellent balance between likeness and stylization, and we’re impressed with the lighting, shadow, and texture work Robert put into this piece.
