Amazing Spider-Man #1000 comes out this week and to celebrate the milestone, we’re releasing prints of our favorite covers from this issue!
Lee Bermejo’s astonishing cover art for Amazing Spider-Man #1000 sees Spidey tangled up by his most notorious foes. Lee’s hyper-realistic-yet-still-stylized art is always exciting to see, especially when you look closely at the texture work on everybody’s costumes, and we love his interpretations of both Spidey and so many of his fearsome villains.
Mr. Garcin’s spectacular art for issue #1000 is the ultimate collage and ode to Spider-Man and his storied comics history. Mr. Garcin’s collages are unparalleled in depth and execution, and there are so many characters, iconic moments, and references throughout this piece that keep finding despite having stared at it for quite some time!
Speaking of characters, Todd Nuack’s connected covers for this Spidey milestone offer one of the most thorough looks at Spider-Man’s friends, foes, teammates, lovers, family, and everybody in between. Todd is a wizard at creating these types of connecting covers and pieces, and we’re excited to be able to release a print featuring the full art!
