This Monday, Jim Pollock gets angry!
Jim’s newest release features his most infuriated creature to date, the Angry Fish. With a mean mug and pointed scales, the Angry Fish has had it up to here with…everything! Jim’s characters are full of personality, and we appreciate just how angry this fish is. Jim went wild with this release and hand-pulled a variety of small editions for this furious fish. Each print is hand-made and hand-printed by Jim, allowing for small, unique variations and differences in each one.
Per Jim, “The new Angry Fish is a nod to the original linocut I designed in the mid 90s and eventually printed & sold in my Ball Square booth at Phish’s first major festival, Clifford Ball. This one has 2, 3, and 4-color editions on slightly larger paper (9.5”x 6.25”) and was printed using a reductive block on my Vandercook Uni. It’s a bit cleaner than the OG, but you’ll find small clip marks on the top - and probably a fingerprint or two.”
Jim's Angry Fish prints will be available VIA LOTTERY on Monday (6/22) @ 12PM ET on our homepage, Bottleneckgallery.com!
