AJ Masthay presents a killer new print for Valentine’s Day!
AJ’s newest print is dedicated to his unique, hilarious, and somewhat macabre view of Valentine’s Day. Per AJ, “Kara and I don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day, never have. What we do do is make up stories for neighbors that we don’t know. This particular image comes from our neighbors across the street who for whatever reason always have their shades drawn and very odd fluorescent lights on in the house every single night, we call it the Murder House because of course there’s murder going on there.
A couple weeks ago they must have hired a company to come do some deep cleaning, fishy right? Until late in the night there were multiple vans with steam cleaners and people pulling furniture out and putting them by the curb. At one point the garbage bags full of “stuff” started being pulled out. Kara and I looked at each other and I said “I don’t know what’s going on over there but those are definitely Bags of Murder”. Me being me I thought what a perfect way to celebrate the upcoming holiday. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! ”
