We’re going back to Gotham this Thursday with a wide breadth of releases spanning all types of mediums including 3D lenticulars, acrylic prints, and paper prints!
Bruce Timm and the animation team behind Batman: The Animated Series were masterful with their approach to the show. Their intriguing and unorthodox drawing style–light colors on dark/black paper–helped create one of the all-time most iconic cartoons. We’re excited to release one of our favorite key art images from the show as both a screen print, and an incredibly recreated lenticular.
Speaking of lenticulars and the unorthodox, we’ve experimented with acrylic prints over the past few months, and we’re ready to roll out our first official release with official art from The Batman. We’re often asked if our normal screen prints and giclee prints work in our Baroque light boxes, and despite fitting and being backlit, often the materials used to make those prints prevent the print from truly shining in the light box. Acrylic prints, however, function effortlessly and beautifully in our light boxes, and allow for a fun and unique frame-up style for your home, personal movie theater, or batcave!
We’ve been admiring Yannick Bouchard’s art from afar for a bit, and we’re happy to bring them to the BNG fold with a print for The Batman. Yannick’s full-figure portrait work is immense, and we’re happy to have Yannick create a portrait based on one of our favorite performances of the year.
Lastly, comics maestro Gabriele Dell'otto’s newest print features Bat-tinson in all his recent Batman glory. Gabriele’s comic art is stunning, and his painting of The Batman is a force to be reckoned with!
All Bat-prints will be available for purchase Thursday (6/9) @ 12PM ET on our homepage, Bottleneckgallery.com!
