Tim Burton’s Batman ‘89 is an astonishing mixture of campiness, gothic sensibilities, Batman lore, and ultimately, fun. The film has the distinct privilege of being the first genuine attempt at a cinematic Batman movie, and Florey’s print commemorates that milestone fully. Keaton’s Batman swooping down on two straight-out-of-the-comics goons was an exhilarating and memorable way to start the film, and Florey’s awesomely cool and moody take on the scene is aces. Florey’s also created some unique variants paying homage to our youth–just check the trading card variant!
