BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES by John Calmette/Jon Renoni & BATMAN #423 Todd McFarlane - On Sale INFO!

What better way to start off your week than with some old-school Batman?

Todd McFarlane’s cover for 1988’s Batman #423 is the stuff of legends. Batman, comforting a woman and engulfing her in his protective and never-ending cape against an oversized moon is a powerful image, and features so much of what we love about Todd’s art. For this edition, we turned the iconic cover art into a Multi-Layer Acrylic, giving the image an incredible sense of depth. We’ve got fun, comic-sized editions of the Acrylic and full-size!

John Calmette, one of the immensely talented background painters from Batman: The Animated Series, is back with another print, and this time he’s joined by art director and animation expert Jon Renoni. The wild fusion of dark backgrounds and art-deco aesthetic led to one of the most unique looking animated shows of all time, and John and Jon’s excellent print captures the thrilling feel of the original series!

Todd, John, and Jon’s Batman prints will be available on Monday (1/12) @ 12PM ET on our homepage, Bottleneckgallery.com!
