We’ve slowly but surely been swirling the cosmos that Joey Feldman creates in his mind and on paper, and this Thursday, we’ve got an incredible new narrative-focused series of prints from Joey, Family of the Mouse Catcher. In addition, we’ve got Timothy Pittides entry for our Grateful Dead series, and his newest gig poster!
Joey’s three new prints depict a darkly colorful family of mouse catchers. Here’s what Joey has to say about this lovable and abstract family unit:
“Viktor’s the son, an only child, eager to learn from his father, the legendary mouse catcher.
Simon is the mouse catcher; “He who wears the fat cat’s hat, catches all the mice,” a local legend. Simon has Pope status in the mouse catching world.
Harriet is the wife of Simon and mother of Viktor. Don’t take her fantastic looks for granted, for she has caught many a mouse in her day.”
Timothy’s print is another stellar entry in our ongoing Grateful Dead series of prints, and his SXSW Comedy gig poster is a fun take on fortune telling and spiritualism, in the vein of Timothy’s Vices prints!
