This Friday, we’re sending everybody back to Camp Crystal Lake with Spiros Angelikas’ officially licensed poster for Friday the 13th Part 2.
As with our previous release of Spiros’ masterful Friday the 13th movie poster, we’ve worked closely with him and the killer printers at VGkids to recreate the imagery for his original Friday the 13th Part II one sheet submission to Paramount Pictures as a 20-color screen print!
Spiros’ original one sheet was highly regarded by the studio and producers, but because it revealed the horrifyingly awesome ending to the film--Jason leaping up from the lake--a less revealing one sheet was used. We’re so excited to be able to work with Spiros and VGkids to offer this piece of slasher cinema history!
