This Thursday, Hugh Fleming proves that he’s a real human being, and a real hero, and we take to Japan for a monstrous collab!
We’re over a decade out from Nicolas Winding Refn’s breakout movie, Drive, and we simply cannot get over it. We can’t get over the visuals, the acting, the soundtrack filled with earworms, and now we can’t get over Hugh’s newest alternative movie poster for the cult classic. Hugh’s poster uses a color palette that mostly mimics a traffic light with its various red, yellows, and greens permeating an intense collage of scenes and characters from the frenetic film.
We’re teaming up with Toho, ISH, and artist Tankro Kato for an exquisitely unique release. Tankro is, predominantly, a Japanese box art artist for the packaging on model kits, often depicting airplanes and other vehicles. For Godzilla Minus One, Tankro created some incredible art for a beautiful model kit, and we’ve used that art to create an officially licensed alternative movie poster! We love delving into other hobbies, and model kits often contain great art housing the kits themselves.
