We’re finishing up the week with a triple threat throwdown with brand new Godzilla prints from Neal Williams, Doaly, and Andy Fairhurst!
With 1968’s Destroy All Monsters, Ishiro Honda and the rest of the Toho team created a simple, all-out slobberknocker of a movie featuring Godzilla, King Ghidorah, Mothra, and many others. Neal’s print showcases a mountain of monsters, all vying to be king of the hill, while the Moonlight SY-3 and its crew decorate the margins. The texture work on Neal’s print is mightily impressive, and we’re stoked to celebrate this film with this print!
Doaly’s alternative movie poster for Mothra vs. Godzilla is an elegant ode to our personal favorite kaiju, Mothra. Doaly’s creativity is on full display as he uses Mothra’s beautiful wing patterns to include a Godzilla–a delicate and lovely image.
Andy fishes up an angry Godzilla from Godzilla Minus One. Andy’s is a master of perspective, and this print provides a unique look at the excellent design of big G’s latest incarnation. Also, check out the electric blue sparking off of Godzilla’s spiked fins!
