It’s SDCC week, and we’re celebrating with prints inspired by the movies, comics, and general pop culture entertainment that is so omnipresent at all of these wonderful conventions. This Tuesday, we take to the stars with Marvel, and then back down into the Batcave with DC!
Ise Ananphada’s newest print for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is a visual tapestry populated with heroes, villains, and a-holes from the beloved film. Nobody does collage style prints like Ise, and we’ve been poring over the many, many exquisite details of the print while listening to the Awesome Mix Vol. 1 on repeat.
Phantom City Creative continue their unique portrait series with the one and only Batman from Tim Burton’s Batman ‘89! PCC’s focus spotlights both the iconic suit and Michael Keaton’s sincerely chiseled chin. Batman ‘89 was a big screen revolution, ushering in more comic book movies made with genuine effort and allowing talented directors to put their own auteur spins on classic characters, and PCC’s print demonstrates just how cool the movie made Batman look!
Ise and PCC’s prints will be available for purchase on Tuesday 7/23) @ 12PM ET on our homepage, Bottleneckgallery.com!
