It may not be Halloween, but we’re shuffling along towards October with Matt Ryan Tobin and Will Robson!
Halloween II starts right where Halloween I left off and Matt Tobin’s alternative movie poster for the spooky sequel shows off an engulfed Michael holding a smaller, yet just as deadly, instrument for his work. Matt’s poster is a fiery ode to The Shape’s second appearance, and an epically brutal climax that leaves everybody a bit worse for wear. Matt’s composition is excellent, and we love the blending of Fall colors and leaves with the fire that dominates the sequel’s finale. To match Matt’s previous Halloween print, we’ll also have a special Japanese variant that’s to die for!
Will Robson’s Day of the Dead print, much like the movie, centers around Bub and the rest of the zombies that Dr. Logan experiments on. Will’s illustration feels like a classic horror comic cover, with cartoon versions of the zombies shambling forth and trying to reach directly out to onlookers.
