We’re heading to Harga to crown the May Queen this Friday, and then kicking back with our pal Justin Ishamel!
Our first release with New England based artist Calvin Laituri is inspired by Ari Aster’s most recent release, Midsommar. Calvin’s work tends to center on the natural world, and Midsommar’s unnaturally disturbing plot and intense imagery seemed like a perfect pairing.
In addition, we wanted to shed light on Justin’s newest project with Japanese toysmith, M1GO, the Cyclops Tricycle Sofubi vinyl figure! The cyclops, based on the 50s film, The 7th Voyage of Sinbad, is a fully realized figure with working tricycle parts--look at that cyclops go!
