David’s print is the newest entry in our ongoing Jerry Garcia Artist Series, and we’re thrilled with his brilliant portrait of the iconic rocker. David is a lifelong Jerry fan, and his hand-drawn portrait is an awesome tribute to legend and his legacy.
Per David, “I'm very happy to share with you a portrait of Jerry Garcia that I feel captures his focused presence on stage during a powerful renaissance year of his life, 1990. It started as a straightforward portrait and then developed into a concept piece related to his time with The Jerry Garcia Band. This is an officially licensed piece for the Jerry Garcia Estate and is being brought into print form by the wizards at DL Screenprinting in Seattle Washington. There is a ‘Concert’ main edition and a ‘Graphite’ variant. Both are 4 color screen prints in editions of 500 and 250 respectively.”
