What do the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Lord of the Rings have in common? Nothing, but we love both properties dearly, and this Tuesday, we’ve got four radical releases covering both!
We’re excited to team up with Gerry Cleary and Matt Dye for two awesome as shell prints featuring the TMNT. Gerry’s print features a painted version of Leo from the original TMNT movie--an image that April draws in the movie! Gerry’s texture work is incredible, and we’re always happy to revisit childhood classics. Matt Dye’s take on the turtles is more playful, and brings back memories of playing Turtles in Time on the SNES, the undisputed best TMNT game.
Cliff Cramp’s newest set of prints takes us through four of the exotic locales in Middle Earth. Cliff’s paintings portray four exotic locations and lands, painted and interpreted through Cliff’s unique lens, infused with all of the whimsy, fantasy, and danger present in The Lord of the Rings.
James Bousema’s interpretation of the blazing Balrog from The Lord of the Rings encapsulates James’ love of dark fantasy and gives off incredibly heavy metal vibes. We’re super into it!
