AJ Masthay jams out this Wednesday with his newest gig poster for Phil Lesh & Friends’ recent stint at The Capitol Theatre!
AJ is back with a stellar scene that layers classic Dead imagery with an interstellar motif, all stemming from a beautifully rendered guitar. AJ always flexes his creative muscles with his wild variants, and this time around, the Rose Garden Holographic is one of our favorite new experimentations.
Per AJ, “Happy 84th birthday to the one and only Phil Lesh!! Honored to once again create a special birthday print for his run of shows at The Capitol Theatre. This time I wanted to feature Phil’s signature bass Big Brown and all the terrapins being summoned back ‘like moths before a flame’.”
