As per Joey, “My old life and ways of doing things feel more and more like a dream every day. I’ll find myself planning life as if the catastrophes we are enduring this year didn’t happen. I’m not used to the changes yet. It hasn’t completely changed yet. There’s no resolve. No certain future. No clear path. Just purgatory. And reminders of how life used to be.
The entire world, including you and me, are on the precipice about to leap off. What will you bring with you to the next place? What will you leave behind? In between an unsustainable past and an uncertain future, the Present is now.”
