The stars have aligned as we celebrate two extraordinary Star Wars milestones: Star Wars Day 2023 and Matt Ferguson’s 40th anniversary print for Return of the Jedi!
Matt’s officially licensed work for the 40th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back (all the way back in 2020) was one of the biggest reactions we’ve seen to any Star Wars art in a long time. The image was everywhere, and we were honored and excited to be able to release Matt’s print through Bottleneck.
And now, a few years later, Disney/LucasFilm have revealed Matt’s newest image for the 40th anniversary of RotJ, and we’re once again smitten and floored by both Matt’s artistry and clear love of all things Star Wars. Using the lush setting of Endor, Matt has created a rich, multi-layered image that fits in-line with his 40th anniversary poster for The Empire Strikes Back, but also stands alone as a great Star Wars poster.
Matt’s print, alongside limited variants, will be available as a timed-edition release starting TODAY @ 12PM ET through Sunday (5/7) @ 11:59PM ET on our homepage, Bottleneckgallery.com!
Please note that this sale is only for the screen printed editions. Future versions (lenticular, acrylic and QUAD) will be available at a later date.
