We’re closing out week 1 of our comic convention inspired releases with the mightiest monsters around from Toho’s Godzillaverse!
Following up on our previous Godzilla 1954 screen print release, we’re unleashing a royal rumble of kaiju with 1968’s Destroy All Monsters . With Godzilla 1954, Toho, Ishiro Honda, and the rest of the talented team behind the movie created the world’s most popular kaiju as well as a powerful allegory and symbol for creatives and storytellers to use as a vehicle for decades to come. With Destroy All Monsters, Honda and the rest of the Toho team created a simple, all-out slobberknocker of a movie featuring Godzilla, King Ghidorah, Mothra, and many others. The original theatrical poster is a classic, and we’re proud to be able to reproduce it as a high quality, officially licensed screen print!
Jason Raish’s print pays respect to the grossest (said with pure affection) Godzilla to hit the screen in many years, Shin Godzilla! Showing off the sheer power of Godzilla from the film, Jason’s clever alternative movie poster places Godzilla on a strategic topographical map as the legendary kaiju battles military defenses.
Rounding off our Toho releases, Drew Wise helps us celebrate Hedorah’s anniversary! First appearing in 1971’s Godzilla Vs. Hedorah, Hedorah is simply the best sludge monster in all of monsterdom. With iconic design, including the deeply cool eyes, Drew’s poster showcases the great and mighty Hedorah and all of its sludgy wonder.
