This Thursday, we’re going on an adventure seeking the Golden Fleece with our fellow adventurers, ISH and Kilian Eng, and then we’re taking an intergalactic detour with Devin Schoeffler’s set of prints for the Star Wars Trilogy!
Jason and the Argonauts is a blender of a movie, combining Greek mythology, live action, and stop-motion animation under the guidance of Ray Harryhausen’s nuanced and outlandishly excellent animator skills. Kilian’s print interprets one of the most outstanding scenes in the film, Jason’s battle with a horde of shrieking skeleton warriors. Kilian’s composition is reminiscent of recordings of Greek myths on vases, and captures the scope of Jason’s epic adventure!
We’ve received our limited allocation of Devin’s successful Star Wars release over from Acme, and we’re proud to present the set of picture-in-picture pieces. The prints are lithographs printed on pearlescent paper, helping Devin’s images really pop in person!
Kilian’s print will be available on Thursday (11/12) @ 12PM EST ONLY via ISH!
Devin’s prints will be available on Thursday (11/12) @ 12PM EST via our homepage, Bottleneckgallery.com!
