Karl’s newest release features prints inspired by both Tolkien’s written works and The Lord of the Rings cinematic trilogy. Karl’s trademark moody and atmospheric art intertwines terrifically with Tolkien’s fantasy world, and Karl has a keen eye for reinterpreting scenes that make for both interesting prints and also good pieces of storytelling. With his latest set, Karl’s painted pieces take us through more scenic parts of Middle Earth, allowing Karl to flex a looser painting style that emphasizes the lushness and beauty of Tolkien’s creation.
