This Tuesday, we head out of The Shire with some familiar faces with new prints based on The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings from Gabz and Pablo Olivera.
Gabz’ newest portrait portrays the fiendish Gollum in all of his sniveling glory. Gabz has been working on his beloved portrait series since his last solo show, and we’re continuously blown away by each new piece.
Pablo’s previous landscape pieces were huge hits, and he’s returned with a new series of Vs. prints, which showcase two of the most intense and visually stunning fights from The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. Pablo’s art truly captures the scale (or in Smaug’s case, scales) of the scenes he’s rendering, and his use of background and foreground elements is masterful.
