We’re possessed…by the spirit of great art, thanks to Yuko Higuchi and Creepy Duck!
We’ve been fans of Japanese artist Yuko Higuchi for years, thanks in part to seeing her phenomenal work alongside several killer A24 releases, including Midsommar, X, and even Marcel the Shell with Shoes on. Yuko’s work feels stringy, with intricate lines weaving tapestries of images that easily throttle between the nightmarish and the frighteningly cute. We’re proud to present Yuko’s first alternative movie poster through Bottleneck for The Exorcist! Focusing on the intense visage of Pazuzu, Yuko’s print is a horrifically cool portrait of the demonic fiend terrorizing Regan and her family in William Friedkin’s momentous film.
Speaking of firsts, we’re excited to release our first print with artist Creepy Duck! Creepy Duck’s poster and design work throughout the horror film industry caught our eye a little ways back, and we’ve brought the Irish artist to the sleepy town of Santa Carla for some blood-sucking shenanigans. CD’s alternative movie poster for The Lost Boys features the iconic sites from throughout the film all cleverly integrated into a vampire skull–how creepy!
Yuko and Creepy Duck’s prints will be available for purchase on Wednesday (1/15) @ 12PM ET on our homepage, Bottleneckgallery.com!
