This Wednesday, we’re releasing prints for two timeless stories, The Sword in the Stone and 20,0000 Leagues Under the Sea!
Disney’s The Sword in the Stone is a quirky adaptation of the ancient Arthurian legend, reimagined through a ‘60s Disney lens. Matt Griffin’s alternative movie poster features a smattering of fun characters introduced throughout the film, with Arthur and Merlin moseying past the legendary sword in the stone. Matt’s artstyle for this print matches the aesthetic of the original film, and we really dig all of the details, such as the sparkles surrounding the sword!
Karl Fitzgerald takes us to the deepest depths with his interpretation of Jules Verne’s classic tale, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Karl’s painterly approach and expertise with hazy scenes makes this underwater adventure the perfect pairing for the multi-faceted artist.
