This Thursday, Vance Kelly takes us back to an ancient, childhood battleground with his newest print for Transformers; Jorge Fornes takes us through the streets of Marvel’s Manhattan with a sensational Spidey print; and Justin Froning suits up!
Vance’s print features a smooth, animated style that features one of the most long-running feuds in pop culture, Autobots vs. Decepticons. More specifically, Vance’s piece depicts the iconic leaders of these two warring factions, Optimus Prime and Megatron, duking it out in epic fashion. We love seeing the sparks fly as behemoth bots slug it out, and Vance’s print encapsulates that perfectly!
We’re teaming up with comics artist Jorge Fornes for the first time, and we couldn’t be more excited. Jorge is a master of scene setting, and we’re immediately drawn to his impressive interpretations of ground level superheroes like Daredevil and, of course, Spidey. Jorge’s first release with us is a stunning screen print featuring Spider-Man and Black Cat taking on Doc Ock in just another day in The City That Never Sleeps. Using a color palette that matches old school comic books, Jorge’s print is brimming with fine details that make it both an exciting NYC print as well as an awesome Marvel piece!
With a new Venom movie closing in, we’re hopping on the Venom Horse bandwagon (big fans of the Venom Horse over at BNG) with a print of Clayton Crain’s Venom War #1 cover variant! Clayton’s cover shows a viciously venomized horse, and full of inky, tentacle-y stellar symbiote details.
RDJ has been in the news lately, and amidst all the DOOM and gloom, we’ve teamed up with Justin Froning for a print with everybody’s favorite MCU avenger, Iron Man. Justin’s print is an in-your-face look at Tony Stark in his glorious, original Iron Man suit.
