This Tuesday, Anthony Petrie returns to his monster mashing; Peter Strain waxes poetic on small town doughnuts; and we celebrate Jimothy!
Anthony continues his Universal Monsters series with his latest piece, an alternative movie poster for Creature from the Black Lagoon. Anthony’s print takes us to the murky waters of the lagoon floor with a variety of fish and flora, all cleverly disguising the emerging Creature. Anthony’s Universal Monsters series continues his combining of the source material and monsters’ personal aesthetic with his art for the posters, and we’re stoked with the results once again!
Peter’s poster for Twin Peaks is a visual treat, and features a many-layered image featuring some of our favorite, and most menacing, symbols and characters from the cult classic show, including Bob. Peter’s print is a tonally dark image that gets to the heart of Twin Peaks, the darkness hiding in small town America.
We’re immortalizing the ubiquitous Jimothy with a new pin from our friend Florey! Jimothy has captured the internet, and our hearts, with his wild proportions, and we simply adore the rascal. 100% of all profits will go directly to an animal charity near and dear to us, Muddy Paws Rescue.
