X-MEN #1 Screen Print & 3D Lenticular by Jim Lee - On Sale INFO!

San Diego Comic-Con is coming up, and in the spirit of all things SDCC, we’re rolling out a week of prints inspired by comics, cartoons, and just general pop culture goodness!

We’re kicking the week off with one of, if not the, most iconic comic images of all time: Jim Lee’s X-Men #1. Jim and Chris Claremont’s 1991 reboot of X-Men helped launch Marvel and all of our beloved mutants more into the mainstream consciousness with colorful, expressive, and modern comic art, and a gateway for new and old readers alike. The image has been produced and reproduced in many other formats throughout the years, but we’ve worked with Acme, Marvel, and our screen printers to ensure that this officially licensed screen print and lenticular release is both faithful to Jim’s original art and given new dimensions by both the screen printing and 3D lenticular process!

In addition to Jim’s original image, we’re also releasing a variant screen print of the re-colored and remastered image that appeared for the 20th anniversary of the original release, with updated coloring from Thomas Mason!

Also, because we know so many people in our community are missing conventions, especially SDCC, we’re going to double Bottlebux points earned for purchases throughout this entire week!

All versions of our Jim Lee release will be available for purchase on Monday (7/19) @ 12PM ET on our homepage, Bottleneckgallery.com.

The artwork is released in conjunction with Acme Archives, the official Marvel licensee.
