We’ve got a great new gig poster release from AJ Masthay this Wednesday!
AJ’s print for Queens of the Stone Age’s recent Pittsburgh show features a uniquely new stylistic approach that we really admire. Here are AJ’s thoughts on the poster, “This one's a bit of a departure from my norm as I wanted to pay homage to the art nouveau poster artists of the early twentieth century. This one in particular is styled after what is likely the most famous print from that era, Henri Privat-Livemont's Absinthe Robette, with some obvious rock ‘n roll twists.”
