We’re closing out the week by visiting Yubaba’s bathhouse for a nice shvitz!
Ian Permana’s newest set of prints is inspired by Miyazaki’s classic, Spirited Away. Often considered a Ghibli gateway movie, Spirited Away is a hand-crafted visual extravaganza, and Ian’s art honors both the movie and legendary film studio. Each of Ian’s prints offers a different perspective of the bathhouse, one from the interior and one from the exterior, with the interior featuring the fighting but exciting No-Face chase, and the exterior featuring a calm and wondrous look at the towering bathhouse.
